AOC Cour-Cheverny Sec 2020: “I”

It is a 2020 COUR-CHEVERNY wine aged in barrels for 12 months. A high-end wine to keep for 10 to 15 years.

  • Serving temperature: Serve at 8°C
  • Color: Pale yellow with shades of straw.
  • Nose: White flowers, honey.

The nose reveals woody nuances with notes of eucalyptus.
The palate offers a surprising delicacy and balance, marked by the wood which matches the fruit.
Notes of acacia flowers and honey are present on the nose and then on the palate.
Toasted and cocoa aromas are expressed after a few years of aging.

Before tasting it, it is advisable to open it at least an hour before, or even to decant it. So that the aromas and fruit are fully expressed!

Gourmet Alliance: Aperitif, Fish and seafood (pan-fried scallops), goat cheese, white meats, grilled cockerel and asparagus.

Romorantin is the unique local grape variety in the world , characterizing the Cour-Cheverny appellation, it is not cultivated in any other vineyard, whether in France or throughout the world.
